Backed by a strong commitment from the Dean of the School of Medicine, formal recommendations from the Senior Leadership Committee on Diversity and Inclusion, and priorities and programs coordinated by the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, we aim to enhance the educational environment through recruitment of a culturally diverse academic workforce, while preparing a diverse group of young physicians to become leaders in a vibrant, global society. We believe that this lays the foundation for a stronger, more equitable campus and community where everyone is welcomed, respected and supported.
